Ray & Bessie (Kirkland) in their white MGB have now joined the Group after their Nata birding excursion.
Some enjoyed an excellent early morning game drive into Chobe seeing all (no rhino here) including Leopard and Lion – by all reports the Mowana Lodge driver/guides were excellent.
Others were busy FIXING … Mike Brett’s V8 had electrical issues which were resolved through a process of elimination. Koos Boshoff had a cooked generator and without necessary spares was converted to an alternator. Thanks to the assistance of Ken Webster an ex- Zimbabwean farmer!
Washing and polishing ensued … we are in a top safari destination of Southern Africa and one is not left for wanting much at the Cresta Mowana Safari Lodge and Spa.
Only spot we are likely to have Guest Relations washing our cars! thanks Lumba xxx
…the end of another beautiful day in Africa …
TIP OF THE DAY is …. If you’re doing Chobe – Cresta Mowana Safari Lodge is your base. The team, hospitality and food are super – score plenty out of 10. Thank you to John, Lumba and the smiling ever-welcoming team.
